Our groceries are about $75 a bag. Like you, I use every coupon and sale I can find. Rarely rarely eat out, but it’s been that way for years. I feel like my mom was, watching every penny, back in the Carter years. Those days were very hard for my family. We have come full circle, and I’m afraid we ain’t seen nothing yet.
“I’m afraid we ain’t seen nothing yet.”
Yep, I know what you mean. The nation is broke with utterly absurd levels of debt ($33 trillion, 120% of GDP), China is a serious threat to us and Taiwan, the idiot Dems are seriously talking about “reparations,” the welfare state is killing us and we invite millions more to come from Mexico (who all go on the dole). The days of the US Dollar as the world’s reserve currency are about over and more and more countries are joining the BRICS nations. Europe is threatening to leave the US alliances. The US is getting squeezed into a very hot and lonely corner all by itself.
Inflation is killing us personally, but the big picture is very dire.
