On top of that, since battery repairs are cost prohibitive, any car wrecked where there is any indication of battery issue, the car will be totaled. The cost of insurance as a result, will skyrocket.
I doubt batteries will be covered by any insurance company.
ICE cars are already being totaled IF the airbags deploy. Too costly to repair.-—AND AIR BAGS are mandatory in current cars.
