I think that after witnessing the catastrophe unfolding before our eyes daily in the Biden administration, a lot of never-Trump types who sat out the 2016 and 2020 elections may decide to turn out in 2024 for the GOP nominee, even if it's Trump. Manchin would give those folks someone else to vote for.
