They are coming for everyone. That change of 1099 required reporting from $20k to $600 is going to really burn a lot of people. The record keeping alone is onerous and costly. Now you have 87,000 new folks in their “customer service” waiting to screw...er.. assist you.
Pay attention to the type of people the IRS will be hiring. Will they be people with degrees in accounting, finance, economics and such. Or, will they be ex special op’s people such as Rangers, marines, delta force types. I’ll answer for you; they will hire from the later. New game in town….

I have a strong suspicion that a lot of these new agents will not be young white males with 120 IQs and accounting degrees from reputable colleges. Just a guess.
My point still stands. OK, so these people were redundant, and effectively non-productive before they joined the IRS. Nonetheless due to massive printed money, massive government debt - we are supporting vast numbers of non-productive people, and its only getting worse. The destruction of a nation/economy does not happen overnight.
