Yes, I have a problem with that too. People need God’s guidance, not some yahoo with a psych degree at some crazy liberal school.
I really don’t care as long as the core belief is solid. You can argue for days. The facts of the vatican don’t lie though, and when Christians see it for themselves, they typically get out. What’s the most important is to understand what salvation is and how to accept from God by grace alone.

I simply read what the Vatican teaches from their own mouths and how it directly contradicts God’s word. It’s not hard.
I also look at who’s killed more Christians than any other group. Spoiler, it was the catholic church.
People at the VA often don’t have a lot of flexibility in receiving the spiritual guidance of their choice. Some are elderly and some are bedridden. It’s not like they can get up and look for someone to talk to if their interest is religious. All denominations should be available for all individuals asking for help. It has nothing to do with the government or with any particular religion. It has to do with making sure that each human being has free choice to ask for whatever help they want and need. I don’t see how a contract is involved other than making sure that there’s a place to call when one of the patients wants someone to visit them.
Oh, and yes, Trudeau thinks I’m a bigot, so there’s that as well.
