The lead investigator has issued an affidavit saying the DA’s office limited and removed much of his testimony to the grand jury, particularly exculpatory evidence.

This alone should get Perry a new trial.

No, he shouldn’t have to go through another trial. At this point he just needs a pardon.

That doesn’t make sense. Yes, the Soros DA in Travis county was deceptive to the grand jury. But that is separate and irrelevant to the actual trial. There is no claim they held back exculpatory evidence in the trial where he was convicted, so what’s the reason for a new trial?
