Ridiculous BS from the Murdoch owned post.
The problem is not with banning Tik Tok. Trump issued an executive order that would have forced the Chinese owners to divest themselves of Tik Tok.
The problem with this bill is that it gives government the power to censor anyone. We’ve all seen how desperately they want to do this. First there were all the government censors for social media as revealed by the Twitter files.
Then there was the attempt to found a Ministry of Truth.
Now this.
The government is already doing it.
This bill sucks. That great Republican Senator Thune (disappointment in greek I think) is a cosponsor — need I say more.?
