The 13-year-old son of a Florida 'whistleblower' who claimed Governor Ron DeSantis' office fabricated Covid-19 statistics during the pandemic was arrested after allegedly threatening a school shooting.
Rebekah Jones took to Twitter on Tuesday night to announce the arrest, which she alleged was personally ordered by DeSantis and carried out by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office.
Jones said her son was taken into custody over memes he had sent in a private group chat which joked about school shootings— including one which made fun of lazy school security guards, and another which joked about being tempted to grab a school security guards' guns.
But a police report released by the Sheriff's office Thursday indicated the motivation for the arrest went beyond the memes, and suggested Jones had played down the gravity of the charges her son faces.
Cops allege Jones' son had made numerous statements explicitly describing his desire to shoot and stab students Holley Navarre Middle School, even going so far as to set a date for his planned rampage.
The boy was charged with 'making written [or] electronic threats' that he was planning a 'mass shooting [or] terrorist act.' He was released Thursday after denying that he wanted to carry out a shooting and placed under home detention, according to the Miami Herald.
The arrest comes three weeks after Jones filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the Florida Health Department demanding that she get her job back and receive backpay and other damages. She was fired from the Department for insubordination in 2020 after leaking data which the state said was phony.

According to the police report, warnings about Jones’ son had been raised BEFORE an investigation into him was launched, Pensacola News Journal Reported.

That report alleged Jones son had said verbally and through text message things like ‘I want to shoot up the school,’ and ‘If I get a gun I’m gonna shoot up hnms lol.’ HMNS presumably stood for Holley Navarre Middle School.
Other messages allegedly read ‘I’m getting a wrath and natural selection shirt so maybe but I don’t think many ppl know what the columbine shooters look like.’
A noted in the report read ‘Okay so it’s been like 3-4 weeks since I got on my new antidepressants and they aren’t working but they’re suppose to by now so I have no hope in getting better so why not kill the losers at school.’
The boy allegedly said he planned to carry out his shooting before spring break, but pushed it back to March 31.
Hmmmm that’s going to challenge whistleblower protections. Is this a plan to remove whistleblower protections from anyone who memes or makes statements. Ought to be interesting.

There is no telling how much money Jones made from her allegations before the truth came out. From what I understand, she has a Go-Fund-Me page operating non-stop.
Jones is seriously mentally ill, the husband is *****-whipped, and the son is a product of the two.
Bad enough if the kid is actually autistic, even normal he doesn’t have a chance with that as the mother and only parent.

The young man is taking drugs for depression. Tucker addressed this last week. Most, if not all of the shooters are on adderal or some other form of this drug. To quote President Trump “I wonder who his therapist is”?

I just think austism is an over used excuse for weird/bad behavior. I certainly have my quirks but i don’t expect the whole world to bend to them.

Adderal isn’t an antidepressant. It’s used to treat ADHD.
