The Democrats want Trump to be the nominee.

In order to win the presidency (or any election), the Democrats must cheat on a massive scale, and they need RINO judges and legislatures to turn a blind eye to the cheating.

If the candidate is MAGA, then Dems and RINOs will unite to defeat them. Just ask Kari Lake.

But if DeSantis is the nominee, RINOs will not go along with the cheating, and all of a sudden, signature verification is going to start to matter on the cheat-by-mail-in ballots.

The Democrats are NOT shaking in their boots because of Trump's popularity ratings after the indictment. The Dems are salivating because if Trump is the nominee in 2024, the RINOs will once again not do a damn thing about blatant cheating.

The only problem with your scenario is that I don't think the RINOs will back DeSantis either. Oh, they will support him enthusiastically until Trump is out of the way, then turn their backs on him if it means agreeing with uncomfortable election fraud allegations. Allegations that - if verified and corrected - could cost many of them their seats in future primaries.

RINOs aren't protecting Democrats - they are protecting a system that keeps public opinion from removing undesirable incumbents.

If Trump is the nominee his public profile and big mouth can keep the heat on the fraudsters, even if he has no electoral path to victory. Because if he doesn't have such a path, DeSantis doesn't, either.

I disagree completely. I do concede that DeSanctis scored an important victory in the War Against the Machines. FL runs Dominion Systems, and as he never tires of stating, Ronnie won by 20 points.

I've read the key in FL was a group of whitehats penetrated Dominion's rear door and changed the data base recovery mode from differential to read-only. This effectively prevented vote flipping, and you better believe Scavino, Bannon and others are all over this to prevent a repeat of 2018, 2020 and 2022.
