The largest coal-fired power plant in Pennsylvania will close in three months because it can’t meet draconian regulations imposed by Biden and his cronies.
This will result in the loss of hundreds of jobs associated with operating the plant and jobs in the small rural community in my county that relies on the company that owns the plant to support taxes for local schools, infrastructure, hospitals, and basic civic services like police. In addition, the community will lose its tax base as thousands of other jobs that flow from the plant will end. I drive past dozens of coal trucks coming from the mines that feed the plant and keep our heat and lights on. Every day, day in and day out. Then there are trains hauling coal that pass through my hometown.
So, what do these people do? Learn to code? Really?
