Venezuela Readies for War While Joe Biden Sleeps – The United States is a zombie empire abroad and a banana republic at home. On the world stage, Washington went from being the first among equals following the end of the Cold War; the sine qua non of the world system that it had helped to foster, to today being a cancerous growth to an international order trending toward multipolarity—specifically, a tripolar system in which China and Russia triangulate against the United States.

The kleptocratic socialist dictatorship under Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela has failed to thrive economically, politically, or socially. This, despite the fact that it possesses one of the world’s largest, easily accessible oil reserves. Heavily sanctioned by their American neighbor to the north and led by an incompetent ruling class, Venezuela has imploded.
To arrest this implosion, Venezuela’s corrupt leadership wants to maximize their nation’s oil production output. Yet, PDVSA, Venezuela’s state-owned oil conglomerate, has proven unable to achieve the increased output quotas that the Maduro government has commanded of them. With the situation in Venezuela worsening for Maduro, the socialist dictatorship still has a large—and modernizing—military that it could deploy to change the outlook of the country’s oil production profile.
No, this won’t be done by discovering new sources of oil within Venezuela’s borders. It will be accomplished instead by annexing their smaller neighbor, Guyana.
The situation in South America looks eerily similar to the situation that had occurred in the run up to Saddam Hussein’s unlawful invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Just as in the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, a larger oil-producing state (Venezuela, in this case), seeks to expand both its territory and its control over the region’s vast oil wealth. Caracas has set for itself this objective...

HE'S WIDE AWAKE AND PERFECTLY IN STEP WITH HIS PLAN FOR WAR.
HIS PLAN ?
TO LOSE.
Since Brandon hates America, deport him to the communist nation of his choosing and make him stay there permanently, never to return to the USA.
Ain’t communism grand?
Jim Jones’ dream come true. He actually planned to eventually take over Guyana, and run it like the Khmer Rouge ran Cambodia.
America retreats, tyrants fill the vacuum. That has always been true and always will be. Only this time we have the Chinese paid President who only goes for a policy designed to hurt this country.
“You won’t like what comes after America” - Leonard Cohen.
And as far as I’m concerned, we are already in the Post-America era.
Arrogant, neocon children in DC, steeped in 30 years of bombing the world without consequence, broke some of the great strategic rules set out during the cold war, or even earlier.
Do not risk a nuclear war with Russia
Play Russia and China against each other and do not push them into alliance
When the big war comes—and its looming. Venezuela will join the side of the Axis. We may well have to send our armies to South America this time. We will be over extended—sending troops to Eastern Europe, Sub Saharan Africa, Asia, Korea, Alaska and the Pacific. What happens when Russia sends nukes to South America? WE could take Cuba in a few weeks, but Brazil? We would be hard pressed to take out the Mexican Cartels at the moment.
Guyana is a member of the Commonwealth, and probably can expect military aid from the UK, Canada, Australia, and very likely India, given its large Indian population.
The terrain isn’t going to make it easy for Venezuela either.
And they get even more “dirty” oil that is hard to refine.
The US is basically a gay, feminist Venezuela anyway.
“”Do not risk a nuclear war with Russia””
That wasn’t a rule, at least not with Republicans and Reagan.
Carter was a “live in fear of Russia and let them dictate to us” kind of guy but Reagan pushed them against the wall and kept them there until they started backing down and making nice.
Now now, Carter did pull us out of the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
