Well, I’m really disappointed. I thought Trunip had the nads to make a citizens’s arrest of Bragg for the felony of releasing the indictment, and turning custody over to the bailiff for incarceration.
Trump’s lawyer explained it well. The campaign finance laws don’t bar people from spending money on themselves — expenditures that are customarily and lawfully made by non-candidates and candidates alike, such as payoffs to avoid litigation — just because there may be a side benefit for a campaign. Suppose a candidate paid to have his teeth straightened, which make him more photogenic to voters. Not an illegal campaign expenditure.
The democrats think that Alvin Bragg was their super secret quiet submarine to sink Trump but it’s aircraft with MAD (magnetic anomaly detector’s) that sink them.
Trump is MAD
What grieves me is that “the law” is to have precedence over all and it does not. Nobody, like bragg is supposed to be able to pick and choose to prosecute or not, make deals or not, choose which to make important or not and certainly not to make up crimes. Only the law is to matter and everyone answers to the agreed laws including the Constitution. Everyone is reduced to only being an executor, subject or beneficiary of “the law”. There is no self determination, only determination of the agreed laws.
We have become no more than a kingdom or dictatorship. The republic is probably dead, replaced by mob rule or worse, dictatorship but more probably anarchy.
So how would the judge fare if he followed the law and dismissed the charges?
If he were to do it, it would need to be argued in at least two phases: One would be consolidating the redundant charges, two would be explaining the misapplications of law.

“I would have thought the ‘political pendulum’ would have started swinging back to center by now, but I was wrong.”
It already did, which is why Trump won more votes than any Republican candidate in history. Twice.
But the political mood of the public is somewhat irrelevant now that the left is rigging elections.
Sadly, we have a long way to go, to get back to so-called “normal”, but I fear we’re never going to get back there, ever again.

There will be an economic collapse. There won’t be money for welfare. Young people that don’t work will start working.
Suppose a candidate paid to have his teeth straightened, which make him more photogenic to voters.

Being alive is necessary to campaign, so eating, having a house, using electricity, and everything that you need to do to live is a campaign expenditure
Ditto that, in my other post.

The US will not tolerate anarchy. If there is anarchy, a dictator similar to Pinochet will quickly take over the government.
