That is the only possible reason. The plan was to have a Neocon be the nominee, so as to continue the war in Ukraine and hopefully start WW3, but now they face a MASSIVE EFFORT to keep Trump out of the White House, which will make the 2020 Steal look like child’s play.
Bolton doesn’t know what he’s talking about. In NYC the law is what Bragg and the courts say it is, not what may be written somewhere. Trump can be convicted, sentenced, and jail in such a system and both Dems and Rinos will cheer about it. Laws may be written, but they can be changed and ignored in a corrupt judicial system.
More to the point, if the Democrats can get away with this in Trump’s case, every other Republican is a sitting duck.
