And when did the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, a city of 800,000 , vote to be part of Russia? Answer: they never did.

That you can’t even be honest with the basic facts at hand shows how bankrupt your entire position on this matter is. That’s very disappointing. I expect better from FReepers. Perhaps you have some skin this game that clouds your view? Russian wife?

Denial just ain’t a river in Egypt. You can’t handle the truth. I have a hard time understanding why some Freepers can support the incompetent Biden foreign policy. Do you really think these fools can handle this crisis? After the debacle in Afghanistan, why would anyone trust them?

More example of nuttiness, Russia starts the biggest European war since WWII, and you say how can they “How does Russia “get out”?”

They stop invading and go home, start up the vehicles, get inside them, and go home.

“”MacGregor when he thought Russia parked outside Kiev would force a settlement quickly a year ago
So did most folks””

For some reason, you keep pretending that is what mocking his ridiculous record of prediction is based on.

It isn’t and you know it, his predictions never changed, month, after month, after month, after month he kept saying the same thing, not just in the first week of the invasion, but continuously till now, that is almost 14 months of the same predictions, ‘this is it folks’, ‘it’s over’, ‘only mopping up left’, over and over.

From Balaclava to Berlin and now Bakhmut, the one thing the Russians/soviets know and employ is massed artillery. History repeats...

Yes, I worry that things are not as awesome for Ukraine as the cheerleaders would like us to think, but McGregor is someone looking for a microphone to express negativity to gain some notoriety. He’s gotten a lot of things very wrong.

And when did the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, a city of 800,000 , vote to be part of Russia? Answer: they never did.

The votes in September 2022 were called by pro-Russian officials in the self-declared republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, and in Russian-held parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia in the south, with questions on the ballot varying slightly depending on the region. Together the four regions make up around 18% of Ukraine’s territory.

Sham or not, the significance is that Putin and Russia now consider these territories as part of Russia as well as Crimea. They are part of the Russian homeland. Retaking them will be considered a direct attack on Russia,

That you can’t even be honest with the basic facts at hand shows how bankrupt your entire position on this matter is. That’s very disappointing. I expect better from FReepers. Perhaps you have some skin this game that clouds your view? Russian wife?

The most important basic fact is that these territories are now under the control of Russia. It doesn't matter what Ukraine thinks or the US or NATO or the UN thinks. Denying the reality on the ground prevents a real, viable solution.

We never recognized the Soviets control over the Baltic States. We called them captive nations. It took 45 years of a containment policy and eventual fall of the Soviet Union to free these countries. We did not intervene militarily because we understood the limitations of military power and the risks involved. Similarly, we did not intervene in the Hungarian Revolution in 1956.

We have no treaty obligations with Ukraine. Strategically, the eastern boundaries of Ukraine are not important for us. Certainly, it is not worth borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars to defend Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries in the world. This war has been ongoing since 2014 when Victoria Nuland helped engineer a coup against the duly elected government of Ukraine. This spawned the separatist movement in the the Donbas and elicited the unopposed Russian invasion and annexation of Crimea.

Nuland and Biden are back in power. This is payback for Putin embarrassing them the first time and the Biden Crime Family has profited from Ukraine. Hunter and Burisma along with quid pro Joe. Trump was impeached over a "perfect phone call" to Zelensky.

I am disappointed with some Freepers who blindly follow the fool in the WH who has never been right about a major foreign policy issue in over 50 years. The Biden Crime Family has been selling us down the river. We got out of one endless war (Afghanistan) to get right away into another one. Follow the money. Who benefits?

There is a reason a lot of people like to save his videos and have fun with them.

Macgregor videos should be bookmarked and then watched a few weeks or a month or two later, it is funny.

Honestly I doubt you listen to his podcasts

More likely you read the smears against him or any other notable who resists the western narrative

If you listened you’d realize he’s fairly accurate

I asked you who hasn’t been wrong

I’ll answer ..nobody

It’s impossible to know Russian immediate plans or if Ukraine has a counter offensive coming or not

If we come to our senses and call for peace it’ll all end fairly quick

How can you read my posts about me listening to him and not know that I listen to him?

I post what I mean, I enjoy listening to him and how it is always the same, the guy just repeats the same positive predictions over and over.

It isn’t a matter of being wrong once, or in a particular period such as the initial attack, he is wrong every month, over and over, and over, like a broken record with the same prediction.

>> What does that even mean? How does Russia “get out”? How does Ukraine “get out”? <<

Negotiated settlement. Armistice. Like WWI, Korea, etc.

It’s the strange effect of the internet. Everyone presumes everyone is an extremist or black-and-white. I actually agree that “We could have prevented the second Russian invasion thru diplomacy. Instead we provoked it.”

Ok, go ahead and believe MacGregor, nobody’s stopping you ( nor can anyone stop you ). I’m just telling you what I HAVE personally heard since March last year. He could be right eventually.

As for me, I’ll wait and see. There are too many propagandists on both sides and too many opinions to digest already.

he has been certain that Ukraine was about to collapse tomorrow every day since the war started.

Gordan Chang is 15 years into his career of pontificating that China is 12-18 months from collapsing.

Something I have been waiting for and it hasn’t shown up was what the Macgregor fans thought about his analysis of the Chinese balloon and his comments about Nazis in Russia/Ukraine and Europe.

Russia gets out by going back to the borders it agreed to honour in the 1994 Budapest Memorandum. And which it reiterated in 2004.

Namely the borders of Ukraine as of 1994

Russia was thought to be the 2nd most powerful military in the world, yet it has spent one year losing ground to the Ukrainians.

That is the definition of “losing badly”

The USA win the 2003 war against Iraq. That was the latest war the USA fought in.

Mac daddy has been repeating for over a year that Ukraine will lose. And he has been consistently wrong.

Consistently.

That man may have been a good warrior, now he is a fool
