This is precisely WHY our nation is in the mess it is today, OUR SIDE are a bunch of pussys!! It has been this way for DECADES our side NEVER EVER fights back!! I am sorry to say this but Jim Jordan is becoming another Trey Gowdy, strongly worded letters is ALL WE GET!!
Legislatures both Federal and state will need to address this trend of using the courts to harass and to destroy. They also need to look at locales where the prosecutor has tremendous home field advantage, like NY or DC.
Removal of immunity is a good start.

How about seeing them all at the steps of congress in unity for once! All of a sudden cats got their tongue. I know McCarthy came out and MTG Jordan and a few others but that does not qualify as all of them …do it for the sake of unity with the base! When the BLM terrorists and antifa and the women banging down doors of the justices AOC, Maxine Waters, and a few were out there, supporting the protesters yet we cannot find one Republican DC representative in New York among the supporters of Trump. They should all be down in New York, protesting this insanity and unfairness because someday it could be them facing the left wing gallows.

The grand jurors (and other participants) can be subpoenaed and asked to testify before Congress.

Absolute civil immunity is a creation of the U.S. Supreme Court out of thin air; not by legislation. Congress can, and should, remove that Absolute immunity.
I don’t care if the standard is beyond a reasonable doubt, or if the state or local government they work for can be held civilly liable for the actions of its prosecutors.

Long term solution is to train the public to what a grand jury is. it powers. and its justiciable usage.
There should not be anything like “legal immunity” for anyone in America, especially those working under the color of law! If you are not sure what you can or cannot do within the bounds of your position, then you dang sure should NOT be in that position of authority!
In America, we are all SUPPOSED TO BE responsible for our own actions and if we step outside, over, or otherwise out of line with what is our actual authority, then we should be subject to legal recourse for our actions - PERIOD!! This kind of self-limit, along with the chance of getting prosecuted, would limit the illegal actions of many, such as the instigation the Capitol Police did when indiscriminately lobbing teargas canisters into NON-VIOLENT crowds outside the Capitol building on January 6th and the rowdy Fed agents inside the January 6th crowds who may have caused damage or instigated entry into the Capitol.
Everyone says, “If you remove this, then no one will want to be cops.” Well, we had cops BEFORE SCOTUS CREATED QUALIFIED IMMUNITY!! And then, the ones who will do the job will not goose-step inline with the illegal orders of many City, State, and Fed “leaders” who order them to attack certain protestors, while “allowing space” for other protestors!!
And this removal of “immunity” should go all the way up to the President of the United States!! This is why so many bad actors within our government continue to ACT BAD!
If the President knew he could be CRIMINALLY prosecuted for ignoring laws that resulted in the deaths of THOUSANDS (say like not enforcing our immigration and naturalization laws), then they wouldn’t just ignore the daily deaths of illegals, drug-addled Americans, and innocent victims of violent crimes perpetrated by illegals!!
But, until this BS immunity is removed, not one Administration will follow the law, because not one person in America has “standing” to force them to follow our laws...often SCOTUS has decided not even Congress, apparently!
Exactly. When this "action" becomes nothing more than a smoking hole, the Republicans will do what they always do, respond "Well, we tried".
