A Better America would have begun selling some of our oil to Japan, vs pretending we don’t have any to pump and refine.
Japan was and may be still receiving Alaskan Oil as oil is fungible. A casual look at geographical locations will underscore that. Beyond that, I would not put much concern about this. Russia and Japan never signed a peace treaty following WWII. Russia still wants its northern island. Lastly, Russia likes to quote history so they might like to review the 1907 war with Japan.
Japan I am sure is doing what they feel is in their best interests here. They are not our 51st state. Last, with the dollar declining and the nitwit in charge strangling our production, I am sure they need an alternate source.
