Baar did say, with the caveats we all acknowledge, not having seen the indictment, that he had hoped someone would nip this nonsense in the bud - although he was fast losing hope.
I still think it’s possible that the judge will accept a motion to dismiss the whole thing. He can blabber about how President Trump is a degenerate, blah, blah, blah, but this particular case is just barely, so barely, shy of specific criminality that he has no choice.
I literally pray that happens.
