When Donald Trump walks into Justice Juan Merchan's courtroom on Tuesday (Apr 4) to face criminal charges, it will be a first for a former US president but familiar territory for the veteran judge who serves on Manhattan's criminal court.
Merchan last year oversaw a criminal trial of the Trump Organization that ended with the real estate company convicted by a jury of tax fraud and hit with fines, while one of its longtime executives, Allen Weisselberg, pleaded guilty and was sent to jail.
Trump is expected to be arraigned before Merchan on Tuesday following a grand jury investigation into hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 US presidential election. The grand jury has indicted Trump, though the specific charges have not been publicly disclosed.
Susan Necheles, a Trump attorney, told Reuters the former president will plead not guilty.

How they can get around the statute of limitations is beyond me. If they find him guilty that will be great reason for an appeal. I want to know why a conservative DA somewhere has not brought charges against the whole Biden family. There is way more evidence of felonies by them that are not outside the statute of limitations. If they can get away with this nonsense then we should be able to also.

I fully expect this judge to place restrictions on what Donald Trump can say and where he can go. This is about interfering with his presidential campaign. He may be restricted to house arrest in New York City.
This battle is going to heat up quickly and the entire world will watch as these Leftists turn America immediately into a dictatorship using tyrant judges.

Apparently there are not any conservative DA’s, otherwise we would be hearing about child abuse charges against that Rat Doctor Levine that parades as an Admiral.
