I think you are missing something important.
Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney et al are not “extremist progressive Marxists” - but they, and many like them, are essential members of #theresistance.
The Deep State had deep roots in US politics, and it has broad, bipartisan support.
It’s not really a Marxist phenomenon. It’s a reactionary force, wanting to wake up every day like it was May 8, 1945 all over again.
“Show me the man and I will show you the crime.”
Even if it has to be a complete fiction. A frame can be put around ANYBODY, and without scrutiny by an unbiased observer, the frame job will never be revealed.
Not only entitled to a personal opinion, apparently the “prosecution” is also entitled to their own set of facts.
