The “rule of law” has been integral to the success of our nation and they have destroyed it. While there has always been corruption in our nation there were always checks and balances too that prevented what we witness today.
It’s not hyperbole to suggest that we are in deep trouble on many fronts but Lady Justice is certainly one of the few things that can bring this nation to its knees in a hurry.
Ironic that their favorite saying is No one is above the law.

Agree. No easy way out of this hot mess now.
The word ‘existential’ is often overused, but seems more appropriate everyday now as the country slides into a deepening cultural morass and political dysfunction.
Our enemies abroad are watching closely and taking notes.
