There is much that DeSantis could do prior to taking actual binding, legal action. But he won’t. Because he is DeSantis.
Or it’s perceived as political aid coming to someone who gave him a endorsement. Same thing would apply if he was a donor to the governor. Seems like tons of suspects don’t have a governor swoop down to save them. Trump hasn’t asked for help from desantis
