Not trying to be argumentive, just trying to figure out how both pieces of data are arrived at (The $48.80 or so on oilprice.com vs. the $30 you quote.)
IMO the figure that counts most is Russian gov’t revenues — IF their reporting (sharp drop in revenues in 2023, compared to pre-war revenue in early 2022) can be believed.
I’m confused... That is what is being paid for Ural Oil. The chart even gives the comparison to other oil. Recent article from Bloomberg states India was paying $64 a barrel recently. The most discounted price I’m reading is roughly $50 a barrel. A far cry from $30.
