News broadcasters (particularly the higher paid ones at the network level) are vetted by testing them with focus groups.
If they can convince the majority of focus group viewers that 1 + 1 = 3 on a consistent basis they are hired.

That will be the first job AI takes away. Almost five years ago, China introduced an AI news reader. Think how much better it has gotten today.
