Tiawan needs to be investing in ATGMs, arming it’s civilian population, defense training and close in artillery and missile defense. A couple of subs and more airplanes would be a good idea but they are far more expensive.

Indeed, but I wonder if Taiwan is truly opposed to being part of mainland China? Cultural and family ties along with the western concept of freedom not being part of Asian heritage.
