Chansley reminds me a lot of someone I knew who was bipolar. A classmate of mine, he had a boisterous theatrical persona when he was riding the mania wave. Wasn’t a danger to anybody, just prone to attention seeking. He even looked a bit like Chansley, although our high school would have frowned on buffalo horns.
Yep. He could be bipolar...I dunno.
It’s probable that the “transient schizophrenia” was brought on by solitary confinement. According to some sources, his mental health issues were longstanding and also indicated in his Navy records. So you are likely correct, Pelham, about the bipolar aspect. See:
Watkins said the Bureau of Prisons’ evaluation also found that Chansley’s mental health had declined while he was kept in solitary confinement in a Virginia jail.”
I felt he was suspect when he showed up with that “Q Sent Me” sign, and we
didn’t find evidence of him sharing actual Q related concepts, other than that sign.
Who the heck made this clownish character the face and personification
of ALL Criminal Conspiracy researchers? (And why?)
Looking at some of the things he supposedly DID share didn’t help remove that feeling. Still, I think he was mostly used and abused for his attention getting posing efforts.
