I believe these adult transgender people are mentally ill and need help.

I believe that younger people are often confused and simply need some life experience to “get past it” and the overwhelmingly vast majority of them will be fine. We do those young people a great disservice and irreparable damage by encouraging them to participate willingly in this derangement.

We should feel collective shame at encouraging it and facilitating it in these people.

That said, I believe these mentally ill adults are a different ball of wax, and are a danger to themselves and others. NONE of these people should be encouraged or allowed to own weapons.

I am a 2nd Amendment advocate, and I understand the dangers of denying people that right based on an assessment of their mental health, due to the propensity of the Left to paint those sane people who legitimately wish to defend themselves and their families in the same category of people who shouldn’t be allowed free in society. But we can all agree that there are people, including those who are in reality mentally ill, who should never have easy access to weapons.

I put transgender people in that category.
