Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz mocked Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry for defending billionaires who fly private jets to climate change summits.
“Look, I gotta say, John Kerry embodies the rich out-of-touch contempt that today’s left has for working men and women,” Cruz said in the Monday episode of his podcast, “Verdict with Ted Cruz.”

“So if John Kerry believes what he’s saying, it means when John Kerry puts his privileged derriere on a private jet, he is destroying planet Earth and simply buying an indulgence of, ‘well, I sent a check to somebody else.’ It fixes it. And his comment, ‘These gazillionaires are doing more than most people I know.’ And I’ve said, ‘Really, you need to know.’ Like, like, it’s such dripping contempt,” Cruz continued.
Kerry discussed the Biden administration’s climate initiatives in an interview with Yahoo News Climate Editor Ben Adler on Friday. At one point, Adler asked Kerry about his private jet usage and his switch to commercial flights.
“It’s just a misnomer. I’ve had one, maybe two private flights, which are US military flights in order to get to China during COVID, where we were forced into that. But I fly commercially,” Kerry said.
Adler followed up with a question about elites using private jets to fly into Davos, Switzerland, to attend the World Economic Forum.

The Lear jet leftists expect to form the core of the global Inner Party. There they will continue to enjoy the finest foods and most advanced gadgets the world has to offer — while deciding your fate for you.
If you work very hard and show them your unwavering loyalty you may be permitted to join the global Outer Party. You will be allowed occasional servings of meat - and air conditioning on a rationed basis.
The rest of us will eat insects and swelter — for the good of the planet.

EVERY person traveling on the taxpayer’s dime should have to at least take coach. Maybe give the POTUS two additional seats for the guy with the football and a SS person.
I don’t care Republican or Democrat, dogcatcher or President, they should *have* to ride with us working stiffs, sick babies, idiots at the check-in gates and delays.
I’d love to see even Trump getting off a delayed flight, having had to sit next to a colicky baby, pissed off and ready to rip the heads off of the idiots running AND the morons regulating airlines.
Carbon credits are a scam because (1) often they involved planting trees in a deforested area where trees would have been planted whether carbon credits were involved or not, or not cutting down trees which would not have been cut down anyway, and (2) the total amount of trees in the world is equal to about 3 years worth of world fossil fuel use and it takes 100 years for the trees to grow to maturity. So if we all tried to buy carbon offsets, it would be impossible.

My point is that *nobody* should be flying private or first class on taxpayer money.
I love the idea of *every* politician - ones I like and ones I hate - having to listen to ‘ordinary people’ for many hours each day or week.
I am no Michael Moore fan, but sometimes he gets it right. If you have not watched his documentary “Planet of the Humans” you may not fully understand the Climate-Change Racket.
While Moore still believes the climate change myth, he is disturbed by the anti-environmental crony-capitalism that controls and profits from the establishment narrative.
