I know you were just quoting the article. IMO some news writers are getting sloppy. Lots of dangling or omitted words. Do journalism courses still teach students to write clearly? I don’t know, maybe editors delete text to make articles fit. Maybe they just want to break stories first.
Deaths in the trans community run in two categories.
By far, the most deaths are from suicide -- as you would expect in a population of severely mentally ill people.
The second category are murders, but not by right-wing white supremacist Christians. The murders are mostly perpetrated by black men who are mislead johns in a prostitution arrangement.
There is no "genocide" or even plans of "genocide" by any group or race...

Hope and pray there won’t be any funerals planned for the Nashville victims on Saturday. The only thing worse would be the families advised to change their funeral plans in lieu of the “freak show day of vengeance”

It is completely unethical, immoral and incompetent to assure a delusional person that their delusions are genuine.
