The 27 European Union member states gave final approval on Tuesday (Mar 28) to a ban on sales of new fossil fuel cars by 2035, after Germany dropped a last-minute blocking effort.
The vote was a formality after ambassadors on Monday backed the milestone agreement.
The majority of the bloc's energy ministers rubber-stamped the ban on Tuesday during a meeting in Brussels, with only Poland against. Bulgaria, Italy and Romania abstained.

Sounds like the EU got what was needed, which was an EXEMPTION for people wealthy enough to buy carbon-neutral fuel at $25/gallon (not a problem for the rich). Also, no doubt, EU employees will be ‘assigned’ fossil fuel cars too.
The rest of the masses will have to live with plugging in their cars every night.

And the battery packs for those carts will cost well over $100,000 unless normal supply and demand hasn’t got the costs already there by that time. Then we’re talking at least one Hunter Biden panting.
