EVs: propelled by electricity gotten primarily from the burning of coal, natural gas and other Fossil Fuels with a smaller contribution from nuclear power.
EVs are not “green” and won’t be for the foreseeable future.

I could see buying a small EV for short trips less than 100 miles total and then recharge at home IF IT COST LESS THAN MY NISSAN. It does not. I will never let go of my internal combustion RAM 1500. I use it as a work vehicle and it will go 500 miles on a tank of fuel and is more comfortable than my wife's Nissan. It takes 5 minutes to fill it up. It costs less than half of an equivalent EV that does not have near the range.
