The price for accepting the mentally ill into normal society. Thats called " mainstreaming" and itstarted in the 60's when parents of mentally and physically handicapped children insisted their child would never be normal unless they were put in public schools.

akin to insisting your mule deserves to run in the Kentucky derby, or your little boy has a right to partispate in womens lacross. ,

Its the accetance of cognative dissonance that has lead us to this point.
