Plenty of guns have been around for decades. Wasn’t really an issue when I was growing up. What has changed?
The culture.
And mentally ill people walking around thinking they aren’t mentally ill. The stigma against seeking help for mental illness needs to stop.

I don’t think there’s a stigma about getting help anymore. In fact, it’s in vogue to announce every psychological disorder one may have.
Perhaps the method of treatment has changed / depending on the practice. Or it is unaffordable.
