I think the author sees this as completely different from the way “normal” people see it. Each person lives in their own bubble but on average the normal people have bubbles that largely intersect in so many places that they can be said to live in the same bubble. People with world views that are wildly different have a hard time coexisting because they largely see someone with Wildy different beliefs as either crazy or dangerous or both. And, they are not wrong. This is one reason why there are enclaves of people with some special view living together, Waco, San Francisco, and any community where people just work and raise families. The intense need of, say pedophiles to convert “normal” people into pedophiles is a struggle for survival and staying out of prison. To pedophiles “normal” people are dangerous.
