Democratic strategist Donna Brazile said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who has not announced a presidential bid, is “running on a 1950s America,” which she believes will benefit President Joe Biden.
Brazile said, “Joe Biden this Tuesday will start to Invest in an American tour where he’s going to spend the next two or three weeks along with his members of the cabinet and the vice president. Once she returns from Africa, they’re going to begin to talk directly to the American people on the anxieties and concerns that everyday Americans have.”

So, I guess the infrastructure bill and the inflation reduction act weren't enough. The number of rubes in this country is ridiculous.
Low crime, educated kids, well adjusted adults, burgeoning standard of living - yeah the 50’s were just horrible.
We know so much better today.
Unless you focus only on the things that were bad, the 1950’s were incredibly better than today.
America was stronger, richer, safer. Families including black families were together. People had deep spirituality and patriotism.
As for race relations, Eisenhower began desegregation.

Well, there is this movement called tradwives movement. Women, I mean young 25yr old 23yr old girls getting married to live in petticoats and maintaining the home to support a breadwinning husband. For them it’s a big deal. Maybe he’s playing to that demographic.
