That’s a rather indirect,lukewarm way of expressing interest.
Notice, he didn’t say, he want’s to run for president or better still, wants to be president. Nope.
This makes me think he ‘wants to get on the debate stage’ primarily to challenge Donald Trump, but not necessarily to win the nomination.
