Paid off. Fortunately for Israel, Joe Biden is busy with Ukraine so Bibi doesn't have to worry about getting condemned for building settlements in the West Bank.
Just like it should be the US President's job to do what is best for American citizens.

There are riots going on. The protesters are demanding complete secular control of the country. Apparently the judicial branch appoints its own members and Netanyahu has appointed two people. The military is rebelling, which is what makes it very serious.

Netanyahu could put the appointments on hold to stop the rioting, but it’s pretty heavy.
An announcement was made by the leftist leader while Netanyahu was in Britain, where he could not respond because it was still the sabbath in Britain but not in Israel. When the prime minister got back he dismissed the leftist leader, said he could no longer trust him. Thus it began.
The left has exaggerated the plans of the administration and inflamed the people by suggesting that things would happen such as the separation of men and women, which is total nonsense.
