That’s not exactly true. I worked in Big Pharma for years until my conscience got to me but just remember that correlation doesn’t equal causation. As an example, it only take is 5.1% of people in a 1-4 year Phase III clinical trial for Medicine X to report a headache and it has to be listed as a side effect on the package insert, which is why every single drug lists headaches as a side effect. Same with vomiting/diarrhea/nausea etc. etc. There is no way of knowing unless there is a complete outlier in percentages if it’s the medicine causing those symptoms and if there is an outlier, the product doesn’t gain approval.

Are side effects listed in the order of occurrences? Kind of like ingredients on a cereal box. That would be really handy to know if so.
