My wife and I own both an EV car and an ICE pickup. EV's are good for many situations if you live here in Alabama where bitter cold and snow is hardly a thing. Especially if you have to have 2 cars anyway (i.e. married) and one of them is an ICE. This way we have the best of both worlds.
There's no way I would have bought an EV if I lived up north or if it was our only car.

I was kind of serious. If you were to put the right tires on one of those things I bet they would do quite well in the snow. People think because it’s all wheel drive they should be able to go, nothing could be further from the truth. My F350 is absolutely scary in the snow with all season tires. Put on good studded snows and 1000# of weight in the back and it’s a bulldozer.
