DeSantis needs to COME CLEAN regarding Ukraine, for starters. Why did he do one of the fastest flips on a major issue that I can remember? For me, for the future (forget 2024), I’d like to know who was telling him to do what, as no one flips like that unless there are voices demanding he flip.

Rove became the prime political adviser to DeSantis. Very bad advice. DeSantis was in an excellent position to become VP in 2024 and President in 2028. He had the opportunity to make history with Trump by restoring the American nation and saving it from the lunatic globalists who wish to destroy it. Not only will DeSantis never achieve those offices but his impatient petulance has aided the globalists and more harm will come to the American nation.

The bottom line here is very clear to me. The Dems (and therefore the MSM) want to run against Trump. They know that Trump still polls very poorly against Independents and women, and he can’t win a general election without a majority of them. The sampling in a number of national polls is so skewed toward helping Trump that they are worthless. Now NBC comes out with this trash. Clearly the Dems don’t want to run against DeSantis! Whether the Dem’s assessment is right or wrong doesn’t change the fact that they fear him. Regardless of who you are for, or against, don’t let the Dems and the MSM pick our candidate.
Since it comes from nbc “news” I don’t believe any of it. It is a typical attack from the left on someone who might stand in the way of the left grabbing onto even more power in 2024.

I like Ron and he’s generally been a great governor. But, I tend to agree that maybe he’s not ready for a Presidential campaign.
Reminds me of Ted Cruz. Really like him as a senator. But was clearly not ready as a presidential candidate.
I think it is a mistake. Republican conservative states need to rebuild using Florida as an example. The fed swamp in DC is lost. Sure a bomb thrower will be great, like Trump, to make us feel better but it is a lost cause until the states clean up and push back. DeSantis is more valuable as a gov right now.
