“History quickly showed that Trump’s claim he was being arrested was false”
Nonsense. We know a grand Jury has been empaneled and is considering the matter. Whether an arrest eventually comes from it, we’ll see. It will depend on how fair the jury pool is, how effective Bragg’s supression of exculpatory evidence has been, and whether all the increased public focus and criticism of the last few days will cause Bragg to have cold feet.
No comment on DeSantis’s criticism of Trump’s 2020 fraud allegations? How about the Twitter video of Dave Rubin recounting how DeSantis and his wife sent him and his “husband” two baby onesies for their newly adopted children. Not a good look for a guy you claimed was so much better than Trump on such issues.
Nothing new there. But Trump went out on a limb, and claimed he was going to be arrested on a specific day, Tuesday of this week. Never happened. I posted on here I didn't think it would, either, as Trump's own lawyers said there was no indication it was going to happen on Tuesday, when asked. So DeSantis probably knew that too, was wise not to fall victim to Trump's act.

I have no idea. But I'm pretty certain Trump's behavior is probably close to the exact opposite of what a lawyer would tell you to do if you are facing an indictment. That kind of taunting is exactly what can cause an overreach of the law.

I thought they were pretty much right in line with what most people think about the 2020 election. While there was obviously some irregularities in the voting, by that point in the process you don't try to subvert the Constitution, and the electoral college process, by not counting the votes the state legislatures legally sent there. Could Pence have refused to count the legal votes, as the Constitution requires? Sure, he could have called in sick too. But since the electoral college is based on counting the actual electors the state legislatures had sent, and they weren't any officially approved alternate electors, which can but did not happen, the proper choice was to follow the Constitution, which Pence did, by counting the official electors the states had sent. Anything else would have been outrageous and Trump and Pence would very likely be in jail at this point.
Most every legal analyst I've seen has explained that one must actually officially be declared the loser of an election, in order to legally contest it. It requires that official loss for you to have actual damages, in order to have standing in a lawsuit. Kari Lake waited until her election was officially lost, recently, before contesting it, which is the proper process. But Trump packed his bags and disappeared for a year after J6, and let the case get cold, so that's on him.
Regarding some internet rumor supposedly involving DeSantis, forget it. That's nothing compared to the unproven internet claims against Trump anyway.
