Ukraine is mocking Russia over reports that Steven Seagal's new Moscow martial arts center will train Russian military recruits in aikido. The U.S.-born actor, who has a cozy relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and holds Russian citizenship, took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Typhoon All-Russian Aikido Center over the weekend, according to footage from Russian state media agency TASS.

It’s been reported that russia has recruited Steven Seagal to teach martial arts to its soldiers.
Rumor has it that the Seagal-style running technique will be included in the training.
russian soldiers will now be able to run away from their positions with weird hand motions.
The dude is a trainwreck of epic proportions.
Easy solution, a one-on-one, 20 ft. diameter ring, Seagal vs Zelensky!
Russia could put it on pay-per-view.
I'd watch.
Russia should sent its troops in dressed as cooks.
Old joke, actually:
Steven Seagal knows karate, kung fu, tae kwon do, and many other words.
With the promise of a centerfold as their 2.
Time for peace agreement, right now. Halt this madness.
I agree. Who's next, Jean-Claude Van Damme?

Don’t start buying into manure. We do the same thing. A perfect example is the US Marines. The Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) does not just concentrate on combat martial arts. Its tiered belt system reflects this with each level of combat training being awarded to those who show both combat skills and leadership qualities. In addition to training with calisthenics, endurance exercises and strength training, Marines train in full gear under a variety of conditions to simulate combat situations using a unique mix of martial arts such as the following:
Jujutsu
Eskrima
Aikido
Kung Fu
Taekwondo
Wrestling
Kickboxing
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Karate
I was training US Army and the newest of the arts they were adding in to training was Gracie, or Brazilian, Jiu-Jitsu. Combatives in the Army are taught to four levels depending upon capacity of facilities and a minimum standard for deployment.
Other countries are evaluating and using more expanded arts for training. Korea, for instance, has varied from it’s native style of Taekwondo, which was developed after World War II, and has since cross-trained into the Israeli martial art, Krav Maga. Krav Maga was an Israeli martial art developed for the Israel Defense Forces and it is derived from a combination of techniques used in aikido, judo, karate, boxing, and wrestling. It is known for its focus on real-world situations and its extreme efficiency.
One of our most famous American martial artists is Chuck Norris, 6 time world middle weight champion. His teachings from Tang Su Do, Taekwondo (Mo Duk Quan), Judo, Gracie and other basic fighting arts led to the development of his own style Chun KUK Do. And he holds a 10th-degree black belt in that art. Today members at Osan Air Base are trained in the art of self-defense the same as Norris in the 1950’s
.
Virtually all countries around the world have either created their own fighting styles for close-range, hand-to-hand combat, or have borrowed military martial arts styles from faraway lands. Part of being a well-rounded soldier is preparedness and the ability to defend a country’s citizens from any threats.

Sounds good on paper, have you talked to Bill Wolfe about this?
Little Stevie Siegel is a joke. He does know a fair amount of Aikido. Other than that little bit he’s a fraud.

At least they are not getting pianists to train their troops lie Ukraine does. Of course it will come in handy when the fat lady sings.
Say it with me,
STEVEN SEGAL is an idiot of the 1st order. And now a traitor.
Russia military already teaches soldiers sambo wrestling, as effective martial art used by many of the top MMA competitors in the words. Aikido Is virtually unknown in the MMA octagon because professional fighters use what works.
