Re: 71 - But he could have pardoned those arrested prior to his leaving office.

At that website, I counted 14 people who were arrested prior to 2021/01/18 and was not halfway through the list.

For whatever reason, rightly or wrongly, President Trump chose not to pardon those arrested prior to his leaving office.

Don’t be stupid. It takes time after arrests to charge and investigate alleged criminal charges, and often charges are added after the fact. Trump had no clue who these people were or what their charges were.

Or did you want Trump to willy nilly start pardoning people within a few days of the event, even it was found or suspected all or some were outside influences, instigating the event?

The devil is in the details. Pay attention.

Just one more thing....If Trump had pardoned some of those people within days of the event, as you suggested he should have done, and it turned out they had evidence Trump didn’t even know about, depicting these individual committing real crimes, what the hell do you think they’d do to Trump?

That’s a setup pal... Did ya want Trump to set himself up for these corrupt screw worms?
