I might need that surgery one day so hopefully what they recommend will not be harmful....good to know “refresh tears” has stood the test of time.

"I might need that surgery one day "

The surgery was a piece of cake for me. I initially had some apprehensions, but they give you something to relax you, and the time goes quite quickly. All I saw was bright colored lights while he was doing the laser surgery, and felt nothing. The only inconvenience is the two weeks in between the surgeries. I simply covered the right lens on my glasses so I could still watch TV and read when I wanted to. I now have 20/20 in both eyes, but do have to wear glasses with progressive lenses for reading and viewing the computer screen. No big deal because I've worn glasses since I was 12. I'm 75 now. I guess there is an option to get prescription lenses inserted, but I can't imagine the cost. The biggest change was noticing how bright everything was. I always blamed the fluorescent lighting in my apartment for the brown sepia tone everything had. After I had my first eye done, I couldn't believe that it had actually been my eyes that had caused the problem. The only bad thing is that now I see cobwebs I have to clean, and more facial wrinkles than I thought I had.
