Current “country” musicians have destroyed the brand. The music and lyrics are awful and half of it sounds more like bubble-gum or rap music than anything else.
If I’m listing to country music, I’m listening to the music of 50s, 60s, 70s, and a little bit of the 80s.

Amen brother. Although there’s some good stuff still being produced. Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Aaron Lewis, and a few others. But they seem to be few and far between nowadays. The ‘90s were pretty good too for the most part.
