Be beat out 17 other RINOs in 2016 and then finally Hillary. How is that not knowing how to fight? How soon we forget…

Furthermore, a person who is insinuating that you are homosexual, as Trump has done most recently?
These tactics are hitting below the belt.
Trump is behaving like some punch drunk thug.
Politics is a man’s game. It’s not for the weak. Trump’s just showing DeSantis what awaits him if he decides to step into the ring.

Can’t believe FOX picked up Piers Morgan After they hired Jerry Rivers, nothing Fox does surprises me.

...and that porn star will, ironically, be his downfall.
The Evangelicals will flock to Mike Pence in the primaries. They do not look kindly on adulterers, or patrons of prostitutes.

Sticking with Trump in 2024 no matter what. DeSantis is going to get destroyed by his newfound GOPe “friends” once his usefulness to them is over.

It is a mand game and it appears to me Trump is well past his prime. Like Muhammad Ali staying in the ring too long. Trump should retire and spend his fee remaining years with his grandchildren.

May I ask what more is he supposed to do?
Pres Trump lost in 2020 and what do we hear? he sucks…..he’s a loser….he should just go away.
Impeached twice for absolutely nothing. They wanted to impeach him for firing Comey.
On top of all the other work he did, with ZERO help from Republicans in Congress.
All of you act like DeSantis does everything alone. The legislature sends him bills and he signs them and somehow all of that is DeSantis. Why not just send the Fla legislature, SecState and AG home.
Pres Trump has been calling out the Biden’s since the campaign. What does the media fill your brain with, Pres Trump and DeSantis.
Let’s see: evidence that Biden took money from CCP using the widow to launder the money, Ukraine not going well and getting more US aid that more folks DONT want, border non existent, housing starting to crash, interest rates rising, violence increasing, inflation getting worse, banks collapsing and bail outs to millionaires and billionaire on the way
Oh look……Pres Trump is going to be indicted on a case that the FEC investigated and said nothing was wrong. A case hinging on the word of Michael Cohen. A case the previous DA investigated and said there was nothing there. A case the current DA looked into and said there was nothing there.
Oh look…..there’s a fight between Trump and DeSantis.

“DeSantis should have endorsed Trump.”
Maybe he would have. Seeing as nobody but Trump has declared yet, it’s a little early for people to come out with endorsements. But I doubt it will be happening now.
To: McGruff
So what. Trump “borrowed” MAGA from Reagan. Maybe DeSantis should use it too?

Spending an inordinate amount of time on what DeSantis should be doing just makes it look like the Republican front is fractured. Even if you think its true its not the best foot to put forward in a situation like this. Also Trump is essentially boosting the narrative that he’s guilty by drawing attention to the fact that even to him his supposed allies think he deserves to be arrested.
Its like a defendant when asked to give a logical alibi defending himself instead rants at length about how all his friends think he’s guilty. Doesn’t exactly look like a genius 22D move.

There is a picture of Desantis with some of his students, apparently at a graduation party. One of the students had a bottle, but no way to tell what they were drinking. Some on the Trump side have tried to use that to imply that Desantis was grooming underage kids by plying them with alcohol. However, the known facts don’t seem to support that. But Trump has never been one to let facts get in the way of a good slander. Of course he objects vociferously when he same is directed at him…

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is playing the running-not-running game as hard as he can, given the Florida ‘resign to run‘ law he is intentionally breaking. Thus, the severity of the self-centered egoism from the man who calls himself the “savior Top Gov of America,” starts to take on context.
According to the DeSantis media operation known as “Florida’s Voice“, the sanctimonious meatball has already scheduled campaign appearances in New Hampshire, Michigan, Ohio and Maryland for April [SEE HERE]. Then, following the instructions of the brand management team in control of him, Ron DeSantis sat down with Rupert Murdoch’s toady, Piers Morgan, for an exclusive interview in both Rupert Murdoch’s publication, The New York Post, and Rupert Murdoch’s broadcast company, Fox News.
Murdoch, who owns Fox News, had previously given Ron DeSantis several million dollars for his personal wealth via a Harper Collins book deal, another Rupert Murdoch company. With full control over the brand image of the DeSantis effort, Fox News has been promoting the meatball for several months.
Timed to coincide with the Trump indictment, DeSantis sits down with Piers Morgan:
(New York Post) – Ron DeSantis knows everyone is waiting for him to say if he’s running for president. But in our interview, airing on Fox Nation’s “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Thursday, he made it very clear that if he does, he can win.
“If I were to run,” he said confidently, “I’m running against Biden. Like we [him and Trump] are competing for the Republican, potentially, I get that, but ultimately you know the guy I’m gonna focus on is Biden because I think he’s failed the country. I think the country wants a change. I think they want a fresh start and a new direction and so we’ll be very vocal about that.”
“Do you think you could beat Biden?” “I think so,” he replied, unhesitatingly, and emphatically.
“I won with independents by 18 points,” he said, “and so that will be the same formula that we would take, and honestly forget about me, I think anybody should take the formula like that nationally. You can’t win with just Republicans. You’ve gotta win with independents and you need to convince some of these Democrats, which I was able to do in Florida, because they’re not woke, they don’t like some of the nonsense going on. They want their streets safe, and they want quality education. So I think you could appeal to people across the canvas.”
[…] “I haven’t made a final decision on it. I’ve told people that I’ve got a lot to do over the next few months in Florida. We’re gonna put a lot of points on the board. And then we’ll see how the dust settles after that, but I can tell you a lot of people realize the country is not going in the right direction and believe that what we’ve been able to do in Florida, if we can apply that nationally, we can get America back on track and back on our foundations.
[…] “And so, I take that very seriously, it’s humbling that people have come to me and asked me to do it or urged me to do it. So, stay tuned.”
“That sounds like almost a yes . . .”
“It’s a stay tuned!”
Why wouldn’t he go for it?
“Well because I’ve got a young family. I’ve got different obligations and it’s not the easiest thing in the world to go through and I also want to make sure that I have a very clear rationale for doing what I’m doing. All I’m interested in doing is getting things done and accomplishing things. I don’t need a title. I don’t need fanfare. I just want to know that if I put my mind to this, if we ever did that, and we’re successful, what could I do to make a difference and that’s what I have to have.” (read more)
I was always hesitant to say the Florida Governor himself knew about the Mar-a-Lago raid in advance. However, as time provides more hindsight and datapoints to review, this entire DeSantis operation reeks of coordination with the deepest elements of the DC Deep State.

Many folks naively believe it’s still R vs. D. That’s simply no longer the case. It’s now MAGA vs. Deep State.
Trump was obviously the best person to carry MAGA forward in 2016 and 2020. Who is the best person now? I want to say it’s still Trump. But for various reasons is he still electable? Or should I be looking elsewhere?
It’s early. Time will tell.

Would you endorse a person for President who implied you were a pedophile repeatedly simply because some people speculated you might be a challenger in his reelection? Mister Trump (figuratively) potties on people, then wonders why they don't support him.
Take John McCain (not a McCain fan, btw). Said Trump re McCain 2015... “He was a war hero because he was captured...I like people who weren’t captured”, thus insulting POWs and MIAs and their families and friends. McCain's last vote in the senate was against the GOP repeal of obamacare provisions. McCain, apparently, got even.
Many more examples, but consider the name-calling and insults that Mister Trump directed at McConnell (again, I'm not a McConnell fan, not the point). IIRC, Trump insulted McConnell, calling him several names. And, did Mitch respond with cheerful support of the Trump-endorsed candidates? Not that I recall.
Fast forward to now. Out of the blue, Trump calls Ron DeSantis several childish names (Desanctimonious, among others). Does Trump expect RDS to respond kindly? No, DeSantis points out Trump's chaotic personality.
Insulting people who could be at least partial allies and putting them on the defensive is the precise opposite of wise leadership and good judgment.

I think DJT better START worrying about upcoming indictments and not worry about Desantis.
Really foolish.
I’m sure the independants cant run away fast enough.
