They're going to keep it as an arrow in their quiver to use against Trump if they feel like they can do so without making him into a martyr. They also probably don't want to rush things -- they like dragging out non-stories to make them sound like long epic adventures.
It seems very likely that this thing is being actively discussed at Rat Party Headquarters. It’s hard for me to imagine the consensus there being “Hey,we should hold off here. This could turn bad for us”. But one thing’s for certain...Bragg is getting his marching orders straight from Headquarters.
