As long as Trump didn’t pay her from campaign money, it shouldn’t be a difficult case. But I suspect Cohen has testified that it was campaign money, as he already essentially pleaded guilty to that in 2018. Cohen might even have made a deal to “confirm” Daniels’ claim that she and her daughter were threatened to keep them quiet.
