I would like to thank the MSM for saving us from the ice age they predicted in the 70’s.

What is the temperature on the y axis measuring? The average temperature on a summertime high? Even 15 C (56 F) seems a little high for central Greenland.

“For a person born in 2020, the extent of warming highly depends on society’s response.”

That statement is a lie, and in true Left-of-center hypocrisy is even in denial of the so-called “science” of the alarmists. [1]

[1] That “science” use preumptions on how long CO2 remains in the atmosphere, and further posists that is a very, very long time. And how long is that? ASccording to their own “science” that time is so long that even with the most radical CO2 reductions possible right now, CO2 will continue to accumulate (increase as a total ppm of the atmosphere) for the next 100 to 200 years. That being the case it would be, under the very best scenarios, from 4 to 8 generations before the rate of atmospheric CO2 levels off - at highs way above today.

Meanwhile, while providing no material atmposheric change in CO2 for 4 to 8 generations, the “climate change” mandates will be economically destructive in two ways. First it will impose criplling added costs to every form of energy, and as the whole economy runs on energy, crippling new costs on everything. Meanwhile, the “investments” in “green energy” and their resulting additional costs will PREVENT economies from taking MORE NECCESSARY climate mitigation and adjustment meaures, which the alarmists own “science” would have to say MUST be done even if they are all that is done.

The “green” agenda is a Pol Pot approach to “climate change”, as if the ONLY way to “cure” to “climate change” is to economically destroy society, pushing energy use back to pre-industrial times, and doing so at staggering costs.

3,000 dairy cows owned by one farmer in 1300 AD? He would have needed at least 200 farmhands. And farmers with 100? Add that to those that just a cow or two, and it sounds like there must have been a half million people living in Greenland back then.

The biggest consequence of climate change so far is that you no longer need the whitest skin possible and an IQ > 120 to survive among all that ice and the scarcity of game - so, IQs have been dropping for quite a while.

Either the ice comes back, or we’re all going to be killed by stupidity.

The same people that endorse transing children and dildo dancing in drag in front of children, are ‘worried’ about our children’s future climate. Rich.

And that is why they changed the “name” to “Climate Change...” because their dire predictions every ten years (or every ten minutes) were never going to come true. The collective natural gas out of the mouths of these charlatans is mind boggeling.

What is the temperature on the y axis measuring?

That's probably changes in Celsius with 0, I believe, to be the coldest point between the Pleistocene Glacial Period and our current Holocene Glacial Period (which probably reached epoch about 6,000 years ago).

Unless they have foreknowledge of the solar cycles, the predictions are meaningless.

At any given moment some part of the world is hotter/colder/wetter/drier/more snowier/less snowier than “average”. There’s climate change occurimg but it’s G-D made climate change.

what is the average global surface temperature SUPPOSED to be

What dates would you use to get an average? Start from the beginning of the planet?
