Interesting... do you have a link? Is this a bill that has any chance of actually passing in the Knesset? Or is it like one of those attention-getting stinkers laid by the US ‘Rats when they’re in the congressional minority, that has absolutely no chance of advancing out of committee, let alone passing?

Here is an English translation and here is the original Hebrew. The bill was offered by two ultra Orthodox members, one of whom has a long history of anti-Christian views and actions. Normally Netanyahu would probably come out against such legislation (there are already laws against paying / bribing / tricking someone to convert) but he made a lot of promises to far right / orthodox parties in order to secure their support, so who knows . . .
