Not to mention all the bankruptcies of small truckers and all the drivers thrown out of work.
First CA wants every trucking company to upgrade their trucks. No trucks before some date will be allowed to run (I don’t recall the date. 2012? 2015?)
So trucking companies need to make massive investments in new trucks. Apparently you can’t retrofit old diesel engines to make them compliant.
But those truck investments will have limited life because they will be outlawed.
What a tyrannical country and state.
Need to open a truck stop on the border of California and Nevada, Oregon or Arizona. Out of state diesel trucks will not be allowed into California. Will sell burgers to the drivers dropping off their out of state loads so California electric trucks can pick them up to haul into the state. This will go well.
